Visofold 1000 Slim Bifold Doors
The UK's most popular bifold door
Fresh Thinking, With Experience & Expertise Built-in As Standard
Available in a range of opening configurations to suit any application, Visofold doors can be folded internally or externally and with the opening at the side (so the sashes all fold one way), at one end (to create a single entrance door) or in the middle (to give the option of a double door).
Visofold’s flexibility makes it the ideal choice for projects where large, uninterrupted openings are required, with the system providing maximum light and space to give unimpeded views.
The highly-versatile, easy-to-operate system is the perfect option for even the largest project, capable of opening up an entire wall, yet presenting a contemporary, elegant glazed façade when closed.
Visofold 1000 Slim doors are available in a choice of standard or non-standard colours, including metallic, dual colour and unique Sensations range of textured finishes.

Smart’s Visofold 1000 is the UK’s most popular aluminium bi-fold door, delivering a range of benefits for the fabricator, installer and end user.
The latest upgrade to the Visofold 1000 bi-fold door features a range of enhancements that deliver significantly improved U-values, as well as easier and quicker fabrication and installation.
Improved thermal performance

While retaining the same overall dimensions and slim sight lines that are such a striking feature of the Visofold 1000 design, new outer frame profiles now incorporate a wider 30mm polyamide thermal break, an increase of more than 60% compared to the 18.6mm break in the original design.
When fitted with a double glazed unit with a centre pane of 1.2, this achieves a U-Value of 1.4 and an A energy rating, the slim profiles allowing as much sunlight in to the room as possible to maximise solar gain.*
*Note: the U-values are calculated with foam insulation added to the profiles.
The system also features a new track insert (DV100), with the polyamide section simply clipping into the track.
